Leadership Equipping

Equipping, training, and inspiring God's leaders is something Dr. Kim has dedicated himself to in over 30 years of international ministry. Having personally trained and set in ministry numerous couples in three nations, he is uniquely qualified to speak to God's leaders about the practice, potential, and pitfalls of preparing workers for the Lord's harvest.

Dominican Advance partners with local pastors and churches to hold conferences, intensives, and courses in theology. Bringing into the region quality ministry is also one of the focuses of Dominican Advance's effort to raise the bar of ministry along the North Coast.

Dr. Kim also works with missionaries and missionary teams offering courses in Spanish language acquisition, cross cultural ministry, and missionary theology. Each mission team that visits the Dominican through the ministry receives equipping in these three important areas.

   Three Leadership Equipping Components:

Theological Instruction

Dominican Advance utilizes CLEN (Christian Life Educators Network) courses and its own curriculum to train pastors in basic Biblical theology and doctrine. Leaders can earn credits towards degrees and other forms of recognition through this component of our ministry.

Pastors Conferences

Dominican Advance frequently holds conferences for area pastors and their spouses. Typically, a conference will consist for a morning session of three hours and an afternoon session of two hours with prayer following. Lunch is provided free of charge to all attendees & a study book is provided for pastors.

Training Intensives

Dominican Advance holds one & two-day intensives that focus on specific areas of weakness for local pastors and their spouses, and team missionaries. Intensives can include: marriage and family, church growth and government, and Spanish and cross cultural ministry for visiting team missionaries.
